I went to audition for Toto in the Wizard of Oz. They really liked me. But in the end the chose the best dog for the job, a cairn terrier named Lincoln. I didn't have a head shot or resume or anything, but nobody else brought one so it was OK.

My friends Lisa and Schuyler and Chandler were there. I was very excited to meet them. So excited I almost had a bad problem in the middle of the room. But it was OK cause my Mom ran very fast and took me to a bush. The director Hugh Copeland said "No! Don't leave!" , and my Mom was going too fast to explain and soon Hugh was OK. It was not a good time to make a homemade yellow brick road.

My mom said it's true I didn't look like the original Toto, but it was time to "think outside of the kennel".

I had blue gingham panties to match Dorothy and a red ruby necklace. A nice rainbow was on my rear end, and the first thing over the rainbow was my tail.

We are very happy we went,. Iit was our first audition. As Lisa always told my sister Molly, you should go for the experience. Sometimes we go for pie. (See Georgia)
